IranPolitik: The Iran Political Analysis Project is an independent website that focuses on delivering high quality content on Iranian politics today to a broad English-speaking audience including students, academics, analysts, policymakers and the general public.
Our team of researchers aims to provide the most objective, accurate, and up-to-date information on the changing dynamics of Iranian domestic politics and foreign affairs and their social and economic context, using a wide variety of sources. Critically, we are not beholden to any government or political organization. To fulfill our mission we bring you regular articles in four different sections:
Analysis focuses on a single topic of importance to Iranian politics and explores it in depth.
Historical Archive reviews recently released material in a range of formats relevant to a better understanding of not only Iranian history but contemporary Iranian politics.
Iran Election Watch covers elections in the Islamic Republic, helping our readers better understand their dynamics, outcomes, and implications.
News brings you the latest essential social, political and economic news stories from the Iranian press. This section selects news stories that are indicative of the most important political trends in Iran today.
All articles, unless otherwise stated, are written by the editorial team. We continually seek to improve our content and format to better meet the needs of our readers, and thus appreciate any constructive feedback.
